Portfolio-Hub (english)

This blog serves as a "center of distribution" for my portfolio until I find a better way to do this. My works are uploaded to several different sites, so it's imperative to have an easy access point to all this.

Disclaimer:
Some of the isometric 2D graphics shown here are made by Simon Foster for the game "Transport Tycoon Deluxe". I only use them as a basis for some of my 3D models and to give a comparision between the original material and what I made out of that.

PORTFOLIO - Scripting

Here are some example scripts, written for the Unity Engine in C#. They are used in "Tank Arena", a player vs player action game I made for the mid-term exams where each of us students had to work alone in a time span of 3 to 4 weeks.

Portfolio - 3D-Modelling

My YouTube-Channel with 3D works

The following images are showing details from one of my biggest animated videos yet. The first two of them are direct comparisons between the original source material and my conversion to 3D. Several differences arise from camera angle, lights, shadows and reflections as well as the necessity to work around some of the 2D techniques to simulate three dimensions - like overlaying graphics to simulate a tunnel where in a 3D world you have to have a certain height of the model.

There's also another video to show how long I worked on a particular part on this 2D-to-3D conversion which also offers a good way of comparison from source and my models.

The bridges you saw are built in a modular way. This means that like in the source game, a bridge consists of several parts that, put together, look like one solid structure - but without having to model a new bridge for a new length of the particular bridge! It may sound a bit confusing, but it's more efficient to invest a bit more time into achieving this modularity.
It's also possible now to have extremely short or very long versions of these bridges that will always look like they were one solid piece.
